yin yoga for men

Yin yoga for men is a special form of yoga that differs from the dynamic and powerful styles. The focus is on the long-term stretching of the connective tissue, especially the fascia that surrounds the muscles, joints and organs.

These are some principles of Yin Yoga:

Holding positions for a long time: Yin yoga asanas are usually held for a period of one to three minutes or even longer. This enables a gentle, gentle and deep stretching of the muscles and promotes the greatest possible elasticity of the connective tissue.

Better stretchability of the body: By holding the positions for a long time, not only the muscles, but also the fascia, tendons and joints are addressed. Positive results include improved flexibility and higher energy levels in the body.

Meditation, mindfulness and breathing: During the asanas, attention should be focused on the breathing. Meditation and/or concentration calm the mind and enable intensive “listening into the body”.

For all ages: Yin Yoga is suitable for every age group and every health condition.
